Material to support staff members working in disability settings, and music activities for groups that are designed for a member of staff to facilitate.

When OrchLab visited Arnold House in March 2018, we used a piece of music by Russian composer Dimitri Shostakovich (his 7th Symphony, known as “Leningrad”) as our inspiration to create our own music.  The Leningrad Symphony has four movements (sections).  In the first movement, there is a very long section featuring a marching drum rhythm.

In 2019, the London Philharmonic Orchestra performed and recorded Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No.5, a huge piece for orchestra, which the composer wrote in 1901-2.
