OrchLab includes two free events each year that are open to any disability organisation to attend.
OrchLab Festival Day
Join us for a celebration of accessible music-making with disabled adults!
Guests will have the opportunity to test out our accessible digital instruments, listen to performances by our LPO musicians, attend an orchestra rehearsal, and take part in a music-making session led by our OrchLab workshop leaders. Residents/clients and staff in disability centres are all welcome.
Our next OrchLab Festival Day will take place on Wednesday 6 December.
If you would like more information or have any questions contact hannah.foakes@lpo.org.uk or call 07887 501531.
OrchLab Open Web Training
This is a free, hands-on training session on Zoom for staff, carers, volunteers or family members who work with disabled adults.
During the training, you will be guided through a variety of online music activities on the OrchLab website and discover top tips, musical activities and fun games that you can take back and explore with the clients in your care settings.
No prior musical or technology expertise is needed, just enthusiasm!
The next OrchLab Open Web Training session will take place in the spring of 2024. If you would like more information or have any questions, please contact hannah.foakes@lpo.org.uk or call 07887 501531.
These events are free to attend. However, we understand that organisations may find travel or staff costs a barrier to attending. For each OrchLab Open Event, financial support towards travel (when applicable) and staff expenses is available for organisations to apply for. More details about this are available on our Financial Support page.
